Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Neovi Media ("we", "us", "our") processes personal data in connection with Go Atlas, a plugin for DaVinci Resolve, and the website getgoatlas.com.
It is written from what the software actually does. Where a section names a field, a hostname or a retention period, that is the value in the shipping build, not a general description.

2. Data We Process
2.1 License Activation and Validation
Activating and validating your license sends the following to our license service, hosted on Google Cloud Functions in the United States (region us-central1):
- Your license key, as issued by Lemon Squeezy on purchase.
- A machine identifier, sent only when you activate. It is a SHA-256 hash of two values read from your Windows registry: the Windows installation identifier (MachineGuid) and your processor model name. It is a one-way hash: neither value can be recovered from it.
- An instance identifier, returned by Lemon Squeezy at activation and sent back on each later validation and on deactivation.
We do not collect your name, your computer name, your Windows user name, your MAC address, your disk serial numbers, your installed memory or your core count. Four of those were used by an earlier version and were deliberately removed: they changed on their own and locked out paying customers.
Validation happens when the plugin starts and periodically while it runs, so that a license can be suspended if it is shared or refunded.
2.2 Abuse Prevention
To stop automated license-key guessing, our license service counts requests per IP address, per license key, per machine and per activation instance. Each of those identifiers is hashed with SHA-256 before it is stored; the stored record holds only that hash, a counter and a timestamp. Records are kept in Google Cloud Datastore.
2.3 Server Logs
Requests to our license service are logged with the source IP address, the User-Agent string, the HTTP method, the request path and a timestamp. License keys are never written to logs. Logs are held by Google Cloud Logging.
2.4 Map, Search and Routing Requests
Rendering a map sends map coordinates, a zoom level and a style identifier to Go Atlas's own map infrastructure, which returns map tiles, fonts and sprites; parts of that infrastructure may themselves run on a third-party host from time to time. Searching for a place is answered from a place index bundled with the Software; the text you typed is never sent anywhere. Tracing a route sends the coordinates of the stops you placed to openrouteservice, operated by HeiGIT gGmbH (Germany).
These requests carry your IP address to whichever infrastructure or provider handles them, as any network request does. Where a third party is involved, that request is handled under its own privacy policy. The rendering engine we use, MapLibre Native, contains no telemetry: it reports nothing about your usage to anyone, including us.
2.5 Payment and Billing Data
Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record). Lemon Squeezy processes billing and payment data under its own privacy policy and acts as an independent data controller for payment processing. We receive limited transaction metadata (such as order status and license key state) necessary for licensing. We never see your card details.
2.6 Support Communications
If you contact us, we process the information you provide (such as email content and attachments) to answer requests and provide support.
2.7 What Stays on Your Computer
The following are written to your machine and are never transmitted to us:
- Your license session, in
%APPDATA%\GoAtlasResolvePlugin\native-session.dat, encrypted with the Windows Data Protection API and readable only by your Windows account on that machine. - A map cache, in
%APPDATA%\GoAtlasResolvePlugin\map-cache.sqlite, holding map tiles already downloaded so that the same view is not paid for twice. - Your projects and the maps you create. They live in your DaVinci Resolve project and on your disk. We have no server that stores them, no account that syncs them, and no way to see them.
- Diagnostic logs, in the same folder, recording what the Software did so that a fault can be investigated. The licence log deliberately records neither your license key nor your machine identifier — only a verdict, an HTTP status and a timestamp — precisely because a log is a plaintext file people attach to bug reports. Nothing in this folder is sent anywhere unless you choose to send it to us yourself.
2.8 The Website
getgoatlas.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics or behavioural tracking. Web fonts are served from this site, not from Google Fonts, so browsing these pages sends your IP address to no third party for the sake of a typeface.
One request does leave your browser: the pricing page asks our own counter function, hosted on Google Cloud, how many early-access seats remain. It conveys your IP address to Google as the host of that function, carries no identifier of any kind, and returns a number only.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases (GDPR)
- Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): license activation and validation, delivery of the map credentials the plugin needs to work, support.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): fraud prevention, rate limiting, abuse detection, and keeping the service available. Our interest is protecting a paid product against key sharing and automated attack; the data used is hashed or short-lived.
- Legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)): accounting, tax and compliance records where required by law.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Data reaches the following providers, each strictly to operate part of the service:
- Lemon Squeezy, LLC (United States) — payment, invoicing, and the license key system itself. Merchant of Record.
- Google LLC / Google Cloud (United States) — hosting of the license service, its rate-limit store and its logs, and of the seat counter the pricing page calls.
- Go Atlas's own map infrastructure, which may itself run on a third-party host — map tiles, fonts and sprites. Place search runs from a bundled index and reaches no third party.
- HeiGIT gGmbH (Germany) — route calculation, when you trace a route.
- Vercel Inc. (United States) — hosting of getgoatlas.com.
We do not use tracking technologies, cookies, or behavioral analytics within the Software.
5. International Transfers
Lemon Squeezy, Google and Vercel process data in the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and otherwise on Standard Contractual Clauses.
Where Go Atlas's own map infrastructure runs on a host outside the European Economic Area, that transfer relies on an adequacy decision where one applies to that host's country, and on Standard Contractual Clauses otherwise. HeiGIT processes data in Germany, inside the European Economic Area.
6. Retention
- Rate-limit records: hashed identifiers with counters, kept for the length of their window — 15 minutes or one hour depending on the action. A counter of repeated failures resets after 24 hours.
- Server logs: kept under Google Cloud Logging's default retention of 30 days, then deleted automatically.
- License records: held by Lemon Squeezy for as long as the license exists, and thereafter as their retention policy and our accounting obligations require.
- Accounting records: 10 years, as French commercial law requires.
- Support emails: kept while the request is open and for a reasonable period afterwards.
7. Security
- All communication with our services uses HTTPS.
- Your license session is stored on your machine encrypted with the Windows Data Protection API. There is no plaintext fallback: if it cannot be encrypted, it is not written.
- The map credentials the plugin needs are never written to disk in the clear and are never placed in the environment of a child process.
- Identifiers used for rate limiting are hashed before storage.
- Our API keys are held in Google Secret Manager, not in the software you download.
8. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you may have rights to:
- Access your data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Request erasure
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability (where applicable)
To exercise your rights, contact: contact@getgoatlas.com
Note that erasing the machine identifier tied to your license means deactivating it. You can do this yourself from the plugin, which releases the machine and lets you activate elsewhere.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, including the CNIL in France.
9. Minors
Go Atlas is not intended for individuals under 18.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Go Atlas after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.

Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: August 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of the Go Atlas software ("Software"), provided by Neovi Media ("we", "us", "our").
By purchasing, downloading, activating, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Software.
1. Legal Information
Neovi Media
Micro-entreprise (France)
SIRET: 852 949 841 00013
Address: 101 AV CLAUDE BERNARD, 11000 CARCASSONNE, France
Email: contact@getgoatlas.com
2. Merchant of Record
All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC, acting as the Merchant of Record.
As Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy is responsible for:
- Payment processing
- Billing and invoicing
- Handling applicable taxes (including VAT)
Neovi Media is solely responsible for:
- The Software
- Its functionality
- Support and licensing
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase the Software.
If you are purchasing on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that entity.
4. Product Description and Requirements
Go Atlas is an OpenFX plugin for DaVinci Resolve. It is not a standalone application: it installs into DaVinci Resolve and runs inside it, alongside a companion editing window used to compose and animate your maps.
To use the Software you need:
- Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit. There is no macOS or Linux build.
- DaVinci Resolve, installed and working, supplied by Blackmagic Design and not by us.
- An internet connection. Map rendering needs network access: views you have not already cached cannot be rendered offline. Your license is revalidated periodically, but a failure to reach our service does not lock you out — the Software keeps working for up to 72 hours offline, and only an explicit refusal from the license service revokes access.
We publish the requirements we have tested. We cannot guarantee that a future version of DaVinci Resolve, or a particular hardware configuration, will remain compatible, and a change made by Blackmagic Design is outside our control. Where such a change breaks the Software, we will make reasonable efforts to restore compatibility.
The Software is licensed, not sold, and is subject to the End-User License Agreement (EULA).
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Early Access
Go Atlas is currently sold as a limited Early Access offer: a one-time payment of €249 for a perpetual license. The first 30 licenses carry a €100 discount (€149). When those 30 are sold, the discount ends and the full price applies.
"Perpetual" means the license does not expire and is not billed again. It does not mean the Software will be developed, supported or supplied with map data indefinitely; section 5.3 and section 14 state the limits.
Prices may change at any time. A change never affects a purchase already made.
5.2 Subscriptions
Monthly and annual subscription plans are not currently offered for sale. If subscription plans are reintroduced, they will be billed in advance, renew automatically until cancelled, and be cancellable at any time with access continuing to the end of the paid period. Anyone holding an existing subscription keeps the terms under which they subscribed.
5.3 Map Services and Their Cost
The Software renders maps built from OpenStreetMap and other open data, served through infrastructure that Go Atlas itself operates and pays for. Access is provided as part of your license and is subject to fair use: automated, industrial-scale or abusive rendering that generates disproportionate cost may be rate-limited or suspended, after we have contacted you where practicable.
We provide this map service for as long as Go Atlas is published and maintained. We cannot guarantee it indefinitely, and you should not purchase on the assumption that we can; we will give reasonable notice before discontinuing or materially degrading it, as section 14 also states. Parts of this infrastructure may themselves depend on a commercial provider from time to time — that dependency is ours to manage, not a condition of your license.
6. Refunds: 14 Days, No Questions Asked
You may request a full refund within fourteen (14) days of purchase, for any reason or for no reason at all. Activating your license does not forfeit this. Installing it, rendering with it and deciding it is not for you does not forfeit it either.
To request one, write to contact@getgoatlas.com from the address you purchased with, or use the contact details on your Lemon Squeezy receipt. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Your license is deactivated when the refund is processed, and you must stop using the Software and uninstall it.
This is a commercial promise that goes beyond what the law requires of us, and it is deliberate: Go Atlas is a plugin that has to work inside your own DaVinci Resolve installation, on your own hardware, with your own projects. No description replaces trying it. We would rather refund you than argue with you.
The one thing it does not cover is abuse — a license refunded and then used, purchases made to be refunded repeatedly, or a refund requested after the Software has been redistributed. In those cases we apply section 10 instead.
7. Statutory Rights (EU Consumers)
Nothing in section 6 replaces or restricts your rights under law; it sits on top of them.
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have a statutory right of withdrawal within fourteen (14) days. For digital content supplied immediately, that right can be waived by express consent, and many software vendors ask for that waiver at checkout. We do not. Our fourteen-day refund runs alongside your statutory period rather than cancelling it.
Separately, if the Software is faulty or does not match its description, French law gives you a legal guarantee of conformity and a guarantee against hidden defects. Those apply beyond the fourteen days and no clause in these Terms restricts them.
8. License and Access
Use of the Software requires a valid license key, activated online.
The license is:
- Non-exclusive
- Non-transferable
- Limited to a single user
- Active on one machine at a time, which you can change yourself by deactivating and reactivating
Further terms are defined in the EULA.
9. License Activation and Security
After purchase, a license key is provided.
You are responsible for:
- Keeping the license key secure
- Preventing unauthorized use
Any misuse may result in suspension or termination.
10. License Abuse and Enforcement
Neovi Media reserves the right to suspend or permanently deactivate any license in case of:
- Sharing, reselling, or distributing license keys
- Circumvention of licensing mechanisms
- Unauthorized or abusive use of the Software
Where we act on suspicion rather than proof, we will contact you at the address associated with your purchase and give you an opportunity to respond before a suspension becomes permanent, unless doing so would defeat the purpose of the measure. A license suspended in error is restored.
Where abuse is confirmed, access may be revoked and no refund will be issued.
11. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Software in compliance with applicable laws
- Not misuse or attempt to exploit the Software
- Maintain the security of your license
- Preserve the map attribution rendered into the image, as section 13 requires
You are responsible for all activity associated with your license.
12. User Content
You retain full ownership of all content created using the Software.
Neovi Media does not claim ownership over any user-generated content, and holds no copy of it.
13. Third-Party Services and Attribution
Map tiles are served by infrastructure Go Atlas itself operates, built from OpenStreetMap and other open data — no third-party map provider is involved. Place search runs from an index bundled with the Software and reaches no third party either. The Software relies on one third-party service: openrouteservice (HeiGIT gGmbH) for route calculation, also built from OpenStreetMap data.
Map data is licensed under the Open Database License. The credit "© OpenStreetMap contributors" is composited into every frame the Software renders. You agree not to remove, crop out, obscure or otherwise defeat that credit, in the Software or in any work exported from it. Doing so breaches the Open Database License and terminates your license under the EULA. Whichever map provider is active behind the Software may additionally require its own credit under its own terms; that provider's terms apply on top of this one, not instead of it.
We are not responsible for:
- Availability
- Changes in pricing or terms
- Service interruptions
Your use of such services is subject to their respective terms.
14. Availability and Modifications
We do not guarantee:
- Continuous availability of the license or map services
- Error-free operation
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue features
- Update the Software at any time
If we discontinue Go Atlas entirely, we will give holders of a perpetual license at least ninety (90) days' notice by email, and during that period we will publish whatever is needed to keep already-installed versions working for as long as the underlying services allow.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Nothing here excludes the legal guarantees that French law gives consumers, including the guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Neovi Media shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the Software. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or the EULA.
Upon termination:
- Your license is revoked
- You must stop using the Software
Work you have already created with the Software remains yours.
18. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Where a change materially affects a perpetual license already purchased, we will notify holders by email before it takes effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of France.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of French courts. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence, nor of your right to bring proceedings there. You may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
20. Contact
If you have any questions about these Terms, contact us at:
contact@getgoatlas.com
End-User License Agreement
Effective Date: August 2026
This End-User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Licensee") and Neovi Media ("Licensor") governing your use of the Go Atlas software ("Software"), an OpenFX plugin for DaVinci Resolve.
By installing, activating, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, you must not use the Software.
1. License Grant
Subject to this Agreement, Neovi Media grants you a:
- Limited
- Non-exclusive
- Non-transferable
- Non-sublicensable
license to use the Software.
This license:
- Is granted to one (1) user
- Is active on one (1) machine at a time
- Is perpetual where purchased as Early Access, or lasts for the paid period where purchased as a subscription
- Requires online license validation
You may install the Software on more than one machine, but it can be activated on only one at a time. You can move it yourself: deactivating on one machine frees the activation for another. No request to us is needed.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
2. License Activation and Validation
Use of the Software requires:
- A valid license key issued upon purchase
- Successful verification through our license validation system
- An active internet connection
License validation may occur:
- At activation
- Each time the Software starts
- Periodically during use
Activation sends your license key and a one-way hash identifying your machine. What that hash is built from, and what is deliberately not collected, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
A validation that cannot reach our service does not revoke your license: the Software continues to work for up to 72 hours offline, and only an explicit refusal from the license service ends access. Beyond that window, functionality may be restricted until validation succeeds again.
3. Permitted Use
You may use the Software to create content for:
- Personal use
- Commercial use (including freelance, studio, broadcast, or enterprise use)
You retain full ownership of all content created using the Software. There is no royalty, no revenue share, and no limit on how you distribute or monetise what you create, provided the map attribution described in section 8 remains visible.
4. Prohibited Uses
You agree NOT to:
- Share, distribute, or resell your license key
- Allow multiple users to use a single license
- Remove, crop out or obscure the map attribution rendered into the image
- Use the Software to bulk-download, scrape, mirror or redistribute map tiles or map data, or to build a map data cache for use outside the Software
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it notwithstanding this restriction, and in particular for the purposes of interoperability under Article L122-6-1 of the French Intellectual Property Code
- Attempt to bypass or circumvent license validation or security systems
- Use the Software to build or support a competing product or service
- Reproduce, distribute, or exploit the Software in any unauthorized way
5. Anti-Abuse and Enforcement
Neovi Media reserves the right to:
- Suspend or permanently deactivate any license
- Restrict access to the Software
- Block access to license validation systems
in case of suspected or confirmed violation of this Agreement.
This includes (but is not limited to):
- License sharing
- Piracy
- Unauthorized redistribution
- Circumvention of technical protections
- Abuse of the map services accessed through the Software
Where we act on suspicion rather than proof, we will contact you at the address associated with your purchase and give you an opportunity to respond before a suspension becomes permanent, unless doing so would defeat the purpose of the measure. A license suspended in error is restored, and no refund is due where abuse is confirmed.
6. Intellectual Property
The Software is licensed, not sold.
Neovi Media retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including:
- Source code
- Architecture
- Algorithms
- User interface
- Graphics and assets
- Trademarks ("Go Atlas", "Neovi Media")
The Software is protected by:
- French intellectual property law
- European Union copyright directives
- International copyright treaties
This section does not apply to the third-party open-source components listed on the Open Source Licenses tab, nor to map data, which remain the property of their respective owners under their own licenses.
7. Legal Enforcement
Any unauthorized use of the Software constitutes an infringement of intellectual property rights.
Under applicable French and European law, such infringement may result in:
- Civil liability (including damages and legal costs)
- Injunctive relief (including immediate cessation of use)
- Criminal penalties in serious cases of counterfeiting or piracy
Neovi Media reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies.
8. Third-Party Services and Open-Source Software
Map tiles are served by infrastructure Go Atlas itself operates, built from OpenStreetMap and other open data licensed under the Open Database License — no third-party map provider is involved. Place search runs from an index bundled with the Software and reaches no third party either. The Software relies on one third-party map service: openrouteservice (HeiGIT gGmbH), for route calculation, also built from OpenStreetMap data.
The credit "© OpenStreetMap contributors" is composited into every frame the Software renders. It is drawn into the image rather than served from a file you could delete. Removing, cropping out or obscuring it breaches the Open Database License and terminates this license. Whichever map provider is active behind the Software may additionally require its own credit under its own terms, on top of this one.
The Software also incorporates third-party open-source components, each licensed under its own terms. A complete list of these components and their licenses is provided on the Open Source Licenses tab. These components remain governed by their respective licenses, and nothing in this Agreement limits any rights granted to you under those licenses.
Go Atlas is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blackmagic Design. DaVinci Resolve is required to use the Software but is supplied by Blackmagic Design under its own terms, which you must accept separately.
Neovi Media is not responsible for:
- Availability or performance of such services
- Changes to their APIs, pricing, or terms
Use of such services is subject to their respective terms.
9. Updates and Modifications
We may:
- Provide updates, patches, or improvements
- Modify or discontinue features
- Require an update for continued use, where an older version can no longer work with our services
An Early Access license includes updates to the Software for as long as it is published, at no further charge. This does not commit us to any particular feature, release schedule, or duration of development.
10. Termination
This license will terminate automatically if:
- You violate this Agreement
- Your subscription expires or is cancelled, where the license was purchased as a subscription
A perpetual license does not terminate on its own, and does not expire.
Upon termination:
- Your rights to use the Software cease immediately
- You must stop using the Software and uninstall it
Work you have already created with the Software remains yours.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Nothing here excludes the legal guarantees that French law gives consumers, including the guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Neovi Media shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities
Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the Software. Nothing in this Agreement limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
13. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of France.
Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of French courts. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence.

Open Source Licenses
Go Atlas incorporates the third-party open-source software listed below. Each component remains under its own license; copyright notices are reproduced as required. This list is generated from the licence files of the components actually linked into the shipped binaries.
Components requiring particular attention
MapLibre Native — BSD-2-Clause
The renderer. Forked from Mapbox GL Native at its last open-source commit; the copyright line therefore names MapLibre contributors, MapTiler and Mapbox.
FreeType — FreeType License (FTL)
FreeType is dual-licensed under the FreeType License (BSD-style with a credit requirement) and GPLv2. Go Atlas uses it under the FreeType License; the credit it requires is given by this page.
ICU (International Components for Unicode) — Unicode License v3
Built in (MLN_USE_BUILTIN_ICU=ON) rather than taken from the system, so the notice travels with the binary.
SQLite — Public Domain
Holds the on-disk tile and resource cache at %APPDATA%\GoAtlasResolvePlugin\map-cache.sqlite.
OpenFX API and Support Library — BSD-3-Clause
The plugin interface. Headers and the Support library come from the OpenFX SDK distributed inside DaVinci Resolve; the Support library is compiled into GoAtlasMap.ofx.
GCC runtime and mingw-w64 runtime — GPL-3.0 WITH GCC-exception-3.1; mingw-w64 licence
The only copyleft licence in this list, and the exception is what makes the static link lawful. Worth reading before changing how the node is linked.
Natural Earth — Public Domain
The bundled country and region geometry.
MapTiler and OpenStreetMap — MapTiler ToS; ODbL
The credit is composited into every rendered frame and must not be removed.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR USE, REPRODUCTION, AND DISTRIBUTION
1. Definitions.
"License" shall mean the terms and conditions for use, reproduction,
and distribution as defined by Sections 1 through 9 of this document.
"Licensor" shall mean the copyright owner or entity authorized by
the copyright owner that is granting the License.
"Legal Entity" shall mean the union of the acting entity and all
other entities that control, are controlled by, or are under common
control with that entity. For the purposes of this definition,
"control" means (i) the power, direct or indirect, to cause the
direction or management of such entity, whether by contract or
otherwise, or (ii) ownership of fifty percent (50%) or more of the
outstanding shares, or (iii) beneficial ownership of such entity.
"You" (or "Your") shall mean an individual or Legal Entity
exercising permissions granted by this License.
"Source" form shall mean the preferred form for making modifications,
including but not limited to software source code, documentation
source, and configuration files.
"Object" form shall mean any form resulting from mechanical
transformation or translation of a Source form, including but
not limited to compiled object code, generated documentation,
and conversions to other media types.
"Work" shall mean the work of authorship, whether in Source or
Object form, made available under the License, as indicated by a
copyright notice that is included in or attached to the work
(an example is provided in the Appendix below).
"Derivative Works" shall mean any work, whether in Source or Object
form, that is based on (or derived from) the Work and for which the
editorial revisions, annotations, elaborations, or other modifications
represent, as a whole, an original work of authorship. For the purposes
of this License, Derivative Works shall not include works that remain
separable from, or merely link (or bind by name) to the interfaces of,
the Work and Derivative Works thereof.
"Contribution" shall mean any work of authorship, including
the original version of the Work and any modifications or additions
to that Work or Derivative Works thereof, that is intentionally
submitted to Licensor for inclusion in the Work by the copyright owner
or by an individual or Legal Entity authorized to submit on behalf of
the copyright owner. For the purposes of this definition, "submitted"
means any form of electronic, verbal, or written communication sent
to the Licensor or its representatives, including but not limited to
communication on electronic mailing lists, source code control systems,
and issue tracking systems that are managed by, or on behalf of, the
Licensor for the purpose of discussing and improving the Work, but
excluding communication that is conspicuously marked or otherwise
designated in writing by the copyright owner as "Not a Contribution."
"Contributor" shall mean Licensor and any individual or Legal Entity
on behalf of whom a Contribution has been received by Licensor and
subsequently incorporated within the Work.
2. Grant of Copyright License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
copyright license to reproduce, prepare Derivative Works of,
publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute the
Work and such Derivative Works in Source or Object form.
3. Grant of Patent License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
(except as stated in this section) patent license to make, have made,
use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Work,
where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable
by such Contributor that are necessarily infringed by their
Contribution(s) alone or by combination of their Contribution(s)
with the Work to which such Contribution(s) was submitted. If You
institute patent litigation against any entity (including a
cross-claim or counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that the Work
or a Contribution incorporated within the Work constitutes direct
or contributory patent infringement, then any patent licenses
granted to You under this License for that Work shall terminate
as of the date such litigation is filed.
4. Redistribution. You may reproduce and distribute copies of the
Work or Derivative Works thereof in any medium, with or without
modifications, and in Source or Object form, provided that You
meet the following conditions:
(a) You must give any other recipients of the Work or
Derivative Works a copy of this License; and
(b) You must cause any modified files to carry prominent notices
stating that You changed the files; and
(c) You must retain, in the Source form of any Derivative Works
that You distribute, all copyright, patent, trademark, and
attribution notices from the Source form of the Work,
excluding those notices that do not pertain to any part of
the Derivative Works; and
(d) If the Work includes a "NOTICE" text file as part of its
distribution, then any Derivative Works that You distribute must
include a readable copy of the attribution notices contained
within such NOTICE file, excluding those notices that do not
pertain to any part of the Derivative Works, in at least one
of the following places: within a NOTICE text file distributed
as part of the Derivative Works; within the Source form or
documentation, if provided along with the Derivative Works; or,
within a display generated by the Derivative Works, if and
wherever such third-party notices normally appear. The contents
of the NOTICE file are for informational purposes only and
do not modify the License. You may add Your own attribution
notices within Derivative Works that You distribute, alongside
or as an addendum to the NOTICE text from the Work, provided
that such additional attribution notices cannot be construed
as modifying the License.
You may add Your own copyright statement to Your modifications and
may provide additional or different license terms and conditions
for use, reproduction, or distribution of Your modifications, or
for any such Derivative Works as a whole, provided Your use,
reproduction, and distribution of the Work otherwise complies with
the conditions stated in this License.
5. Submission of Contributions. Unless You explicitly state otherwise,
any Contribution intentionally submitted for inclusion in the Work
by You to the Licensor shall be under the terms and conditions of
this License, without any additional terms or conditions.
Notwithstanding the above, nothing herein shall supersede or modify
the terms of any separate license agreement you may have executed
with Licensor regarding such Contributions.
6. Trademarks. This License does not grant permission to use the trade
names, trademarks, service marks, or product names of the Licensor,
except as required for reasonable and customary use in describing the
origin of the Work and reproducing the content of the NOTICE file.
7. Disclaimer of Warranty. Unless required by applicable law or
agreed to in writing, Licensor provides the Work (and each
Contributor provides its Contributions) on an "AS IS" BASIS,
WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or
implied, including, without limitation, any warranties or conditions
of TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, or FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. You are solely responsible for determining the
appropriateness of using or redistributing the Work and assume any
risks associated with Your exercise of permissions under this License.
8. Limitation of Liability. In no event and under no legal theory,
whether in tort (including negligence), contract, or otherwise,
unless required by applicable law (such as deliberate and grossly
negligent acts) or agreed to in writing, shall any Contributor be
liable to You for damages, including any direct, indirect, special,
incidental, or consequential damages of any character arising as a
result of this License or out of the use or inability to use the
Work (including but not limited to damages for loss of goodwill,
work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all
other commercial damages or losses), even if such Contributor
has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Accepting Warranty or Additional Liability. While redistributing
the Work or Derivative Works thereof, You may choose to offer,
and charge a fee for, acceptance of support, warranty, indemnity,
or other liability obligations and/or rights consistent with this
License. However, in accepting such obligations, You may act only
on Your own behalf and on Your sole responsibility, not on behalf
of any other Contributor, and only if You agree to indemnify,
defend, and hold each Contributor harmless for any liability
incurred by, or claims asserted against, such Contributor by reason
of your accepting any such warranty or additional liability.
END OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
APPENDIX: How to apply the Apache License to your work.
To apply the Apache License to your work, attach the following
boilerplate notice, with the fields enclosed by brackets "[]"
replaced with your own identifying information. (Don't include
the brackets!) The text should be enclosed in the appropriate
comment syntax for the file format. We also recommend that a
file or class name and description of purpose be included on the
same "printed page" as the copyright notice for easier
identification within third-party archives.

FreeType
FREETYPE LICENSES
-----------------
The FreeType 2 font engine is copyrighted work and cannot be used
legally without a software license. In order to make this project
usable to a vast majority of developers, we distribute it under two
mutually exclusive open-source licenses.
This means that *you* must choose *one* of the two licenses described
below, then obey all its terms and conditions when using FreeType 2 in
any of your projects or products.
- The FreeType License, found in the file `docs/FTL.TXT`, which is
similar to the original BSD license *with* an advertising clause
that forces you to explicitly cite the FreeType project in your
product's documentation. All details are in the license file.
This license is suited to products which don't use the GNU General
Public License.
Note that this license is compatible to the GNU General Public
License version 3, but not version 2.
- The GNU General Public License version 2, found in
`docs/GPLv2.TXT` (any later version can be used also), for
programs which already use the GPL. Note that the FTL is
incompatible with GPLv2 due to its advertisement clause.
The contributed BDF and PCF drivers come with a license similar to
that of the X Window System. It is compatible to the above two
licenses (see files `src/bdf/README` and `src/pcf/README`). The same
holds for the source code files `src/base/fthash.c` and
`include/freetype/internal/fthash.h`; they were part of the BDF driver
in earlier FreeType versions.
The gzip module uses the zlib license (see `src/gzip/zlib.h`) which
too is compatible to the above two licenses.
The files `src/autofit/ft-hb.c` and `src/autofit/ft-hb.h` contain code
taken almost verbatim from the HarfBuzz file `hb-ft.cc`, which uses
the 'Old MIT' license, compatible to the above two licenses.
The MD5 checksum support (only used for debugging in development
builds) is in the public domain.
--- end of LICENSE.TXT ---
GCC runtime and mingw-w64 runtime
The plugin and goatlas-core.dll are linked statically against the GCC
runtime libraries (libstdc++, libgcc) supplied by the mingw-w64 toolchain. Those libraries are
covered by the GNU General Public License version 3 WITH the GCC Runtime Library Exception,
which expressly permits distributing a work in object or executable form that is linked
against them under a licence of your choosing, provided the work is compiled with a compliant
compiler. No GPL obligation is therefore placed on Go Atlas by this link.
The mingw-w64 runtime itself (libwinpthread and the Windows API import libraries) is
distributed under the mingw-w64 licence, a permissive BSD/Zope-style licence.

# Free Software applies to the current dictionary as well.
#
# Each User may also freely distribute the Program, whether in its
# original form or modified, to any third party or parties, PROVIDED
# that the provisions of Section 3 ("NO WARRANTY") will ALWAYS appear
# on, or be attached to, the Program, which is distributed substantially
# in the same form as set out herein and that such intended
# distribution, if actually made, will neither violate or otherwise
# contravene any of the laws and regulations of the countries having
# jurisdiction over the User or the intended distribution itself.
#
# NO WARRANTY
#
# The program was produced on an experimental basis in the course of the
# research and development conducted during the project and is provided
# to users as so produced on an experimental basis. Accordingly, the
# program is provided without any warranty whatsoever, whether express,
# implied, statutory or otherwise. The term "warranty" used herein
# includes, but is not limited to, any warranty of the quality,
# performance, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose of
# the program and the nonexistence of any infringement or violation of
# any right of any third party.
#
# Each user of the program will agree and understand, and be deemed to

#
# Therefore, neither ICOT, the copyright holder, or any other

# damages, including, without limitation, general, special, incidental
# and consequential damages, arising out of or otherwise in connection
# with the use or inability to use the program or any product, material
# or result produced or otherwise obtained by using the program,
# regardless of whether they have been advised of, or otherwise had
# knowledge of, the possibility of such damages at any time during the
# project or thereafter. Each user will be deemed to have agreed to the
# foregoing by his or her commencement of use of the program. The term
# "use" as used herein includes, but is not limited to, the use,
# modification, copying and distribution of the program and the
# production of secondary products from the program.
#
# In the case where the program, whether in its original form or
# modified, was distributed or delivered to or received by a user from
# any person, organization or entity other than ICOT, unless it makes or
# grants independently of ICOT any specific warranty to the user in
# writing, such person, organization or entity, will also be exempted
# from and not be held liable to the user for any such damages as noted
# above as far as the program is concerned.

5. Time Zone Database
ICU uses the public domain data and code derived from Time Zone
Database for its time zone support. The ownership of the TZ database
is explained in BCP 175: Procedure for Maintaining the Time Zone
Database section 7.
# 7. Database Ownership
#
# The TZ database itself is not an IETF Contribution or an IETF
# document. Rather it is a pre-existing and regularly updated work
# that is in the public domain, and is intended to remain in the
# public domain. Therefore, BCPs 78 [RFC5378] and 79 [RFC3979] do
# not apply to the TZ Database or contributions that individuals make
# to it. Should any claims be made and substantiated against the TZ
# Database, the organization that is providing the IANA
# Considerations defined in this RFC, under the memorandum of
# understanding with the IETF, currently ICANN, may act in accordance
# with all competent court orders. No ownership claims will be made
# by ICANN or the IETF Trust on the database or the code. Any person
# making a contribution to the database or code waives all rights to
# future claims in that contribution or in the TZ Database.

libjpeg-turbo 3.1.0
libjpeg-turbo Licenses
======================
libjpeg-turbo is covered by two compatible BSD-style open source licenses:
- The IJG (Independent JPEG Group) License, which is listed in
[README.ijg](README.ijg)
This license applies to the libjpeg API library and associated programs,
including any code inherited from libjpeg and any modifications to that
code. Note that the libjpeg-turbo SIMD source code bears the
[zlib License](https://opensource.org/licenses/Zlib), but in the context of
the overall libjpeg API library, the terms of the zlib License are subsumed
by the terms of the IJG License.
- The Modified (3-clause) BSD License, which is listed below
This license applies to the TurboJPEG API library and associated programs, as
well as the build system. Note that the TurboJPEG API library wraps the
libjpeg API library, so in the context of the overall TurboJPEG API library,
both the terms of the IJG License and the terms of the Modified (3-clause)
BSD License apply.
Complying with the libjpeg-turbo Licenses
=========================================
This section provides a roll-up of the libjpeg-turbo licensing terms, to the
best of our understanding. This is not a license in and of itself. It is
intended solely for clarification.
1. If you are distributing a modified version of the libjpeg-turbo source,
then:
1. You cannot alter or remove any existing copyright or license notices
from the source.
**Origin**
- Clause 1 of the IJG License
- Clause 1 of the Modified BSD License
- Clauses 1 and 3 of the zlib License
2. You must add your own copyright notice to the header of each source
file you modified, so others can tell that you modified that file. (If
there is not an existing copyright header in that file, then you can
simply add a notice stating that you modified the file.)
**Origin**
- Clause 1 of the IJG License
- Clause 2 of the zlib License
3. You must include the IJG README file, and you must not alter any of the
copyright or license text in that file.
**Origin**
- Clause 1 of the IJG License
2. If you are distributing only libjpeg-turbo binaries without the source, or
if you are distributing an application that statically links with
libjpeg-turbo, then:
1. Your product documentation must include a message stating:
This software is based in part on the work of the Independent JPEG
Group.
**Origin**
- Clause 2 of the IJG license
2. If your binary distribution includes or uses the TurboJPEG API, then
your product documentation must include the text of the Modified BSD
License (see below.)
**Origin**
- Clause 2 of the Modified BSD License
3. You cannot use the name of the IJG or The libjpeg-turbo Project or the
contributors thereof in advertising, publicity, etc.
**Origin**
- IJG License
- Clause 3 of the Modified BSD License
4. The IJG and The libjpeg-turbo Project do not warrant libjpeg-turbo to be
free of defects, nor do we accept any liability for undesirable
consequences resulting from your use of the software.
**Origin**
- IJG License
- Modified BSD License
- zlib License

Why Two Licenses?
=================
The zlib License could have been used instead of the Modified (3-clause) BSD
License, and since the IJG License effectively subsumes the distribution
conditions of the zlib License, this would have effectively placed
libjpeg-turbo binary distributions under the IJG License. However, the IJG
License specifically refers to the Independent JPEG Group and does not extend
attribution and endorsement protections to other entities. Thus, it was
desirable to choose a license that granted us the same protections for new code
that were granted to the IJG for code derived from their software.

"These implementations" means the copyrightable works that implement the WebM
codecs distributed by Google as part of the WebM Project.
Google hereby grants to you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge,
royalty-free, irrevocable (except as stated in this section) patent license to
make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, transfer, and otherwise
run, modify and propagate the contents of these implementations of WebM, where
such license applies only to those patent claims, both currently owned by
Google and acquired in the future, licensable by Google that are necessarily
infringed by these implementations of WebM. This grant does not include claims
that would be infringed only as a consequence of further modification of these
implementations. If you or your agent or exclusive licensee institute or order
or agree to the institution of patent litigation or any other patent
enforcement activity against any entity (including a cross-claim or
counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that any of these implementations of WebM
or any code incorporated within any of these implementations of WebM
constitute direct or contributory patent infringement, or inducement of
patent infringement, then any patent rights granted to you under this License
for these implementations of WebM shall terminate as of the date such
litigation is filed.

MapTiler and OpenStreetMap
Map tiles, glyphs and the vector style are built from OpenStreetMap data,
licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL) by the OpenStreetMap Foundation. That is true
of every tile source this plugin has used or may use, and it is why the credit below is
unconditional.
The required credit — "(c) OpenStreetMap contributors" — is composited into every frame the
plugin renders by openfx/Attribution.h. It is drawn into the image rather than served from a
removable resource, because an attribution a user can delete is not an attribution. Removing or
obscuring it breaches the ODbL.
WHO SERVES THE TILES IS CONFIGURATION, NOT SOURCE. The style address comes from the licence
server (`credentials.styleURL`), so this file cannot name a provider without going stale — and
it did: it credited MapTiler AG as the server long after openfx/Attribution.h stopped drawing
their logo on 2026-09-02, on the strength of ADR-022 making Go Atlas its own tile provider.
The consequence to keep in mind rather than to assume away: a commercial provider's terms apply
IN ADDITION to the ODbL for as long as the style in force points at them. MapTiler's free plan,
for one, requires their logo to be visible. Whoever changes `styleURL` owns that question.

Natural Earth
The country and region outlines bundled with the plugin (Resources/geodata/countries.bin and regions.bin) are derived from Natural Earth. All versions of Natural Earth raster and vector map data found on this website are in the public domain. You may use the maps in any manner, including modifying the content and design, electronic dissemination, and offset printing. The primary authors, Tom Patterson and Nathaniel Vaughn Kelso, and all other contributors renounce all financial claim to the maps and invite you to use them for personal, educational, and commercial purposes. No permission is needed to use Natural Earth. Crediting the authors is unnecessary. Source: https://www.naturalearthdata.com/about/terms-of-use/
